Wild-Harvested from Naturalized Stands on Georgia's Black Sea Coast

Eucalyptus viminalis (Manna Gum) is not native to Georgia — it was introduced from Australia in the early twentieth century — but it has since naturalized and now grows wild across the warm, humid lowlands of the Black Sea coast in western Georgia. We harvest the leaf from these established wild stands, away from the southern mountains where our other plants are gathered.

Leaves are picked by hand and shade-dried to protect their aromatic essential-oil content, then sorted before packing as whole or cut dried leaf. The trees grow wild, without spraying or chemical treatment. As cineole content varies naturally by site and season, we can arrange independent third-party lab testing of oil composition on request.
