The Sourcing Ethos

Hand-Harvested from Wild Bramble Thickets of the Caucasus

Our Blackberry leaves are hand-picked in late spring while still young and pre-flowering, the stage at which their astringent tannins and ellagitannin content reach their peak. The leaves are gathered from wild bramble thickets across the mixed broadleaf forests of the Samtskhe-Javakheti region.

The cool, high-valley microclimate of Georgia's Caucasus belt yields leaves with a rich, deeply concentrated polyphenol profile, and they are shade- and low-temperature dried to preserve the heat-sensitive tannins and flavonoids prized by the pharmaceutical and herbal-tea industries.

Frequently Asked Questions

In what forms and cut sizes do you supply Blackberry Leaf?
Our Blackberry Leaf is supplied as dried leaves, available whole or cut (cut-and-sifted to your mesh on request). Custom cut sizes can be prepared to your specification.
Where is your Blackberry Leaf sourced from?
Our Blackberry Leaf is wild-harvested by hand in Samtskhe-Javakheti, Georgia. It grows wild — with no pesticides and no chemical fertilizers — and every batch stays traceable to the area it was gathered from.
When is Blackberry Leaf harvested, and do you supply fresh-season crop?
We harvest Blackberry Leaf in May - June, and supply current-season, single-origin crop. The crop year can be confirmed on request.
Do you provide a Certificate of Analysis or lab testing for Blackberry Leaf?
We're a direct wild-harvest supplier, not a lab — we don't run in-house laboratory testing or issue our own Certificate of Analysis. Independent third-party lab testing can be arranged on request, to the buyer's specification. Every shipment includes a phytosanitary certificate, a certificate of origin, and a commercial invoice and packing list.
What is the minimum order quantity, and how is Blackberry Leaf priced?
